Mila Kunis Bio

 Mila Kunis was born Milena Kunis in Chernivtsi in Ukraine on August 14, 1983. Kunis moved with her parents Elvira Kunis and Mark Kunis to the United States at seven years of age. They eventually settled in Los Angeles. The Kunis family came to the United States with only 250 dollars. It was a challenging beginning. However, Kunis parents, who each gave up their professional lives to uproot themselves, were determined to make a better life for their children. Mark who was a former mechanical engineer, found work as an Uber driver. Elvira had previously taught Physics in Ukraine and ended up owning a pharmacy. Kunis stated that she did not know the American culture upon her first visit to the United States. "I didn't know the people. I couldn't comprehend the language. The first line of my essay for college admission was "Imagine being blind and deaf at the age of seven". It was a very difficult experience when I moved to the States. I was able to get over it quickly. Milena Markovna Kunis was the daughter of Mark Kunis in Chernivtsi (Ukraine), and Elvira. She has an older brother. Her mom is a physics teacher and also manages a pharmacy. Her father is a mechanical engineer, but doubles up as taxi driver. She is Jewish and her family relocated to Los Angeles at the age of seven. Rosewood Elementary was where she went to school. When she was nine-years-old she started acting lessons. She was a commercial auditionee and then made her television debut in 1994 in her first appearance on Days of Our Lives. She was first cast in the sitcom That '70s in 1998 show’ in the role of Jackie Burkhart. Her performance was praised by the critics. In 1999 she was given the role of Meg Griffin on the animated sitcom Family Guy.
