Naomi Watts

 

Naomi Ellen Watts was born 28 September 1968. She made her film debut in Australia in For Love Alone (1986) that was followed by three tv shows: Hey Dad.. (1990), Brides of Christ (911) and Home and Away (1991) and Flirting (1991). Watts moved to America in the year 2000. Her first experience was a struggle as an actress. In reality she was able to fill tiny roles in films, before becoming a aspiring actress in David Lynch's Mulholland Drive psychological thriller. Her fame grew internationally through this role. Watts was then played as a tortured journalist in The Ring (2002). As a character in the film, she played a grieving mother , in the Alejandro film 21 Grams, she was nominated to win an Academy Award for Best Actress. Her popularity has grown when she was featured in I Heart Huckabees (2004). King Kong (2006), Eastern Promises ((2007)) and The International (2009). For her role as Maria Bennett in the disaster film The Impossible (2012), Watts received an additional Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. In the 2010s, she played in films like Birdman (2014) St. Vincent (2014) St. Vincent (2015), While We're Young (2016), The Glass Castle (2017) and Luce (2018). Watts was also a prominent character in blockbuster film, appearing in Divergent (2015)-2016.
