Barbara Heck

BARBARA (Heck), Born 1734 in Ballingrane which is located in the Republic of Ireland. The mother of Bastian (Sebastian) Ruckle and Margery Embury. Bastian Ruckle married Margaret Embury in Ballingrane, Republic of Ireland. The couple had seven children but only four of them lived until adulthood.

Most of the time, the subject has participated in significant events, and had unique thoughts or opinions which are documented in writing. Barbara Heck has left no correspondence or documents. Her date of marriage was, for instance, not supported by any evidence. The primary documents that were used by Heck to explain the reasons behind her actions and motives were lost. Despite this, she is considered a hero by the history of Methodism. In this case, the job of the biographer is to account and explain the story and identify if there is a real person who lies within the myth.

The reason for this is that the history of Barbara Heck has to be mostly based on her contributions to the great cause, with which her legacy remains forever connected. Barbara Heck played a lucky role in the birth of Methodism, both in North America and Canada. Her name is well-known for her way in which successful groups and organizations tend to celebrate their beginnings.
